What happened after Hotel Hell?

Beachfront Inn & Inlet was a small oceanfront motel and restaurant at 110 S Ocean Dr in Fort Pierce, Florida, opened in 2012 by owner Brian Paul using proceeds from his family's fishing business. According to IMDb, Fox's Hotel Hell, hosted by Gordon Ramsay, featured the property in the episode "Beachfront Inn & Inlet" (S3E7), which aired July 19, 2016, showing Ramsay working with Paul as he tried to keep control of daily operations while repaying a loan from his brother. According to a Yelp listing updated in June 2026, the on-site restaurant, doing business as The Inlet Grill, is marked permanently closed.

Google Places lists the same address's business status as permanently closed. Hutchisland.com, the website listed for the property, returned a page on 2026-09-09 that carried no title, no menu, no hours, and no current-year content, only a footer privacy notice. A separate Yelp page for a lodging business called Beachfront Inn at the same 110 S Ocean Dr address was updated in August 2026 without a closed marking, and a Tripadvisor review page tied to the address carries the name Sunrise Sands Beach Resort. No 2026-dated source found in this check confirms rooms are currently being booked at the address under either name, so whether any lodging operation continues there is unclear.
