What happened after Hotel Impossible?

Hotel Impossible (Travel Channel) featured the property as CitiGarden Hotel in South San Francisco, California, in the episode "Sleeping on the Job" (S5E10), which aired 2014-12-30. The business-listing match supplied for this record, however, does not clearly correspond to that property. The listing supplied for this record identifies Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco Airport North at 670 Gateway Blvd as an operational match for the featured hotel. A search for CitiGarden Hotel directly turned up a separate, differently addressed listing: the Better Business Bureau's profile for CitiGarden Hotel gives its address as 245 S Airport Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080, roughly a mile from the Gateway Blvd address, and additional aggregator pages, including Trivago, Agoda, Yellow Pages, Pensionhotel, and Vive Hotels, likewise list a CitiGarden Hotel at that same S Airport Blvd location rather than under the Hilton name.

The BBB profile lists the business as having started in 1991 with 35 years in business but carries no dated statement about current operations, a closure, or a name change. The property at 245 S Airport Blvd has since been rebranded as Park Pointe Hotel, and in a July 2026 update, Yelp listed it as open and active under that name. The corrected S Airport Blvd address was located through the Census Bureau's geocoder for this record; the coordinates supplied with the original Places match are not used here.
