What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Coosh's Bayou Rouge Restaurant's Cajun and Creole seafood and comfort dishes in the 'Seafood and Comfort' episode, which aired 2025-01-24. The restaurant operates from 6267 Old Water Oak Rd in Tallahassee, according to Google Places. Coosh's own website, cooshs.com, still loads but its visible content dates to 2019, with no current hours or ordering system posted. A Yelp listing for the same Old Water Oak Rd address, updated 2026-07, is more current and shows the restaurant still active, with continuing customer reviews.
A separate Yelp listing shows a second Coosh's Bayou Rouge location at 705 South Woodward Ave in Tallahassee, updated 2026-08, suggesting the business may now operate two area locations. No closure, relocation, or ownership change has been reported for the original Old Water Oak Rd location since the episode aired.
