On 'Food Hall of Fame,' the episode featured Corner Slice, a New York-square pizza counter founded by chef Mike Bergemann inside the Gotham West Market food hall in Manhattan. The shop opened in 2017 and became known for New York square pies alongside inventive flavors such as a black-truffle pie and a garbage pie. Corner Slice's own website, cornerslicenyc.com, checked 2026-09-08, announces that the pizzeria left New York City after seven years and relocated to Maplewood, New Jersey. Village Green NJ separately reported that the acclaimed pizza shop planned to move to Maplewood. The Maplewood location, at 419 Boyden Avenue, occupies a space previously used by The Bread Stand bakery, according to Montclair Girl. Corner Slice's original Gotham West Market address no longer houses the business.
