What happened after Food Paradise?
The 'Here's the Beef' episode featured Dalessandro's, a cheesesteak and hoagie shop in Philadelphia's Roxborough neighborhood serving steak sandwiches from a walk-up counter. According to the restaurant's own website, dalessandros.com, checked September 8, 2026, the site carried 2026-dated content and listed current hours of 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Thursday, extending later on Friday and Saturday. The same page noted the shop would close for a scheduled break from Monday, September 14, through Sunday, September 27, 2026, before resuming service. Google Places recorded the Wendover Street address as operational the same week. No news coverage, ownership announcement, or public listing describing a permanent closure or relocation was found for this record; the September break described on the restaurant's own site is a scheduled, temporary closure rather than a lasting change.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
