Dreamy Weenies was the New Orleans hot dog stop in the Season 4 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! titled "Dreamy Weenies, Longtail Kitchen, Anna Mae's Bakery and Restaurant," which aired 2015-05-08; TVmaze's episode summary says host John Catucci eats Southern-style hot dogs. New Orleans & Company's community page, published 2015-03-05 and updated 2017-03-09, described it as a French Quarter restaurant founded by local entrepreneurs Ahmad Shakir and Nasr Nance. The page listed beef (kosher and halal), turkey and vegan hot dogs, toppings such as red beans and rice, grits and barbecue shrimp sauce, and buns baked fresh daily. A Google Maps listing for Dreamy Weenies at 740 N Rampart Street marks it permanently closed (Google Maps, checked 2026-10-19).
