What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's 'Big Easy Eats' episode featured Beachbum Berry's Latitude 29, a tiki bar in New Orleans's French Quarter, at 321 N Peters St. The bar serves what its website describes as exotic drinks and food, drawing on tiki cocktail traditions in a French Quarter setting near the Mississippi riverfront. According to a Google Places listing checked on 2026-09-07, the business status is operational. The bar's own website, checked on 2026-09-09, returned a server last-modified date of 2026-09-09 and listed current operating hours running Monday through Sunday, along with an active online reservation system. The same site listed a contact phone number and address for the North Peters Street location. No reports of closure, relocation, or ownership change were found in either source.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
