What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's "Barbecue Paradise 2: Another Rack" (2012, season 4) featured Gates Bar-B-Q's Kansas City-style barbecue, spotlighting its tangy vinegar-and-spice sauce, hickory-smoked burnt ends, and pulled pork sandwiches. Gates Bar-B-Q is a barbecue restaurant chain based in the Kansas City metro area; the episode identified a Kansas City, Kansas location, though Google Places currently locates one of the chain's addresses at 3205 Main Street in Kansas City, Missouri. On 2026-09-08, the gatesbbq.com website listed an active online ordering cart, a nationwide shipping option for its sauces and rubs, and a toll-free order line, (800) 662-RIBS, along with a company history page and multiple current Kansas City-area store locations, indicating the business continues to operate.
