What happened after Food Paradise?
Hattie B's Hot Chicken appeared in the episode 'Handheld Happiness,' featured for its Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, the dish for which the chain built its reputation. The location shown is Hattie B's Midtown restaurant at 112 19th Ave S in Nashville, Tennessee, one outpost of a multi-city chicken chain. According to hattieb.com, last modified 2026-08-13, the business currently lists locations across Nashville, Memphis, Atlanta, and Austin, among other cities, with an active online-ordering system built into the site. The Midtown Nashville address matches the restaurant's Google Places listing.
When the website was checked on 2026-09-08, its multi-city location list, working ordering widget, and August 2026 update together showed the site to be current, with no notice of closure or relocation for the Midtown location. No additional independent source, such as a recent news article or review, was located to corroborate the site's own information for this specific location.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
