What happened after Food Paradise?
The Loop appeared in the episode 'Handheld Happiness' for its handcrafted, loop-shaped churros, served with a range of dips, glazes, and toppings at its Westminster, California storefront. The business opened at 9729 Bolsa Ave in June 2016, according to HappyCow, and later expanded to additional Southern California locations, including a second Orange, California location also later marked closed on Yelp. A Yelp listing for the Bolsa Avenue address, updated 2026-01, marks The Loop Handcrafted Churros permanently closed, a status also shown on a Gayot listing for the same location.
Yelp's listing for the address had accumulated 3,803 photos and 2,169 reviews over the years the churro shop operated there, reflecting the location's earlier popularity before the 2026-01 update recorded its closure. The business's own website, theloopchurros.com, returned no response when checked on 2026-09-08.
