What happened after Mystery Diners?

On 'Steals on Wheels,' the Mystery Diners episode that aired 2015-11-18, the owner of a Pasadena meal-delivery business called Homebound Meal Delivery told Charles Stiles that customers had filed several complaints and asked him to find the cause. Stiles's undercover investigators worked alongside the delivery and kitchen staff and reported their findings to the owner, who confronted the employees responsible and, consistent with the show's usual format, was advised to tighten quality checks on outgoing orders. According to Wikipedia's article on Mystery Diners, which cites its sources, the show discloses that some scenes are staged or re-enacted for dramatic effect, and a television critic has called several of its scenarios implausible.

The business at 1274 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena now operates as Dream Dinners Pasadena, a meal-assembly and prep business under the national Dream Dinners brand, rather than under the Homebound name. Google's place record lists the address as operating, and the operator's own website, dreamdinnerspasadena.com, showed a server update dated September 9, 2026 and offered active online ordering. It is not established from the sources reviewed here whether Dream Dinners is a continuation of the featured business under new branding or a wholly separate company that simply took over the address afterward.
