What happened after Restaurant Takeover?
Italian Garden, at 10069 Hurontario Street in Brampton, was the second episode of Restaurant Takeover (Food Network Canada) season two, which aired on 2013-09-04. According to TVmaze's episode page, owner Joe had opened the restaurant about 15 years earlier and was confident that his hot table of traditional Italian dishes was top notch. The space told a different story: the synopsis describes dated Italian-themed decor, worn floor tiles, and bland pastas and sandwiches, giving the room the feel of a 1990s cafeteria more than the tavola calda (Italian hot-food counter) style it was aiming for.
