What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode featured King + Duke's wood-fired kitchen, centered on a 24-foot hearth that cooked meats and vegetables over coal and hardwood flame. The restaurant opened in 2013 in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood as a project of restaurateur Ford Fry, serving a New American menu built around live-fire cooking. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the restaurant closed after dinner service on 2023-06-18, ending a decade on Peachtree Road after the operator chose not to renew its lease. The AJC also reported the space had not reopened for lunch service after the COVID-19 pandemic.
