What happened after Bar Rescue?
LIV Bar and Restaurant was a Las Vegas venue opened in 2017 by owner Michelle, who had cycled through several concepts, including an initial Filipino-themed menu, without settling on a clear identity for the business. The "LIV'n on a Prayer" episode, filmed in February 2018 and broadcast May 5, 2019, found the bar roughly $350,000 in debt, with no beer on tap and a bartender significantly overpouring drinks in what the recon investigation identified as a scheme tied to inflating her own tips at the business's expense. Social-media influencers sent in for recon also described service as slow and inattentive during a normal weekend shift.
During the rescue, chef Ryan Scott and mixologist Charity Johnston worked with staff on food and drink standards, and the venue was renamed Halo Nightclub as part of a larger overhaul that added a lit dance floor, new lighting and DJ equipment, a new point-of-sale system, and updated staff uniforms. A stress test after the changes showed improved food reception from guests, though service speed remained a concern going into the relaunch.
According to Reality TV Updates, which tracks outcomes of Bar Rescue episodes, Halo Nightclub closed in May 2019, the same month the episode aired, meaning the business did not remain open even through its television debut; the tracker cites a customer review posted after the closure expressing surprise that the bar, newly seen on television, was already out of business. The bar's Decatur Boulevard address was later occupied by a different restaurant, iSeafood Grill & Bar, which itself had also closed by early 2023 according to the same source. No reporting was found describing what, if anything, currently operates at that address as of 2026. This should not be confused with the large-scale LIV nightclub brand operating today at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which is a separate, unrelated business under different ownership and dates only to 2023.
