What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's episode "Howdy, Texas!" featured Lockhart Chisholm Trail BBQ, a barbecue restaurant in Lockhart, Texas, a town widely known for its barbecue tradition. The business operates from 1323 S Colorado St in Lockhart, south of Austin. A check of the restaurant's website, lockhartchisholmtrailbbq.com, on 2026-09-08 found the site live under the title "Must-Try BBQ in Lockhart, TX | Chisholm Trail BBQ," offering catering packages and online table reservations. Google Places lists the business as operational at the same Colorado Street address, under the name "Lockhart Chisholm Trail BBQ," correcting an apparent typo, "Trial" for "Trail," in the as-featured episode description. No dated news article or social media post was reviewed for this record, since the live, reservation-taking website and the matching Google Places listing already supplied current evidence of operation.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
