What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's episode "Howdy, Texas!" featured Scholz Garten, a historic beer garden and restaurant in downtown Austin, Texas, serving a food menu alongside beer and cocktails. The business operates from 1607 San Jacinto Blvd, near the University of Texas campus. A check of the restaurant's website, scholzgarten.com, on 2026-09-08 found the site live under the title "Scholz Garten," listing curbside pickup ordering and posted daily hours, including Monday hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the bar open until 10 p.m. Google Places lists the business as operational at the same San Jacinto Boulevard address, under the name "Scholz Garten," which differs from the anglicized "Scholz's Beer Garden" used in the as-featured episode description. No dated news article was reviewed, since the website and Google Places listing already supplied current, dated operating information.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
