Lynn's Paradise Cafe closed in January 2013 amid a public dispute over a new tipping policy, according to a 2018 Louisville Public Media report. The Barret Avenue building the cafe had occupied was still awaiting redevelopment five years after the closure, Louisville Public Media reported in August 2018.
