"Best Thing I Ever Ate" featured Junior's Restaurant's New York-style cheesecake at the chain's original Brooklyn location, on the "All American" episode. According to Wikipedia, Harry Rosen founded Junior's in 1950 at 386 Flatbush Avenue Extension, on a site his family had run as a diner since 1929, and the restaurant is now owned and operated by his grandson, Alan Rosen. According to Wikipedia, the restaurant was named after Rosen's two sons, Walter and Marvin. Junior's has since expanded with locations in the Times Square area and inside Foxwoods Resort in Ledyard, Connecticut, according to Wikipedia. A site check on September 8, 2026, found Junior's website advertising a Labor Day promotion, current hours for the Flatbush location — including Thursday 7 a.m.-11 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 7 a.m.-midnight — and an active online ordering system, according to juniorscheesecake.com.
