What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?

Best Thing I Ever Ate's episode "More Than I Can Count!" highlighted Miss Myra's pit-cooked, slow-smoked pork, the specialty the barbecue restaurant is best known for, alongside its scratch-made pies. Miss Myra's Pit Bar-B-Q is a family-run barbecue restaurant in the Cahaba Heights neighborhood of Birmingham. Yelp's listing for the business showed customer reviews continuing through an August 2026 update, indicating ongoing activity. The restaurant's own website, missmyras.com, currently lists its address as 3278 Cahaba Heights Road and offers a call-in ordering page, and gives a contact number of 205-967-6004, the same number listed on the restaurant's Facebook page. The site's posted hours are inconsistent, however: a "temporary hours" heading (Monday-Saturday, 11am-7pm) differs from an older hours block elsewhere on the same page, so hours should be confirmed by phone before a visit.
