What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
Best Thing I Ever Ate's episode "More Than I Can Count!" featured The Lox Bagel Shop's boiled-and-baked bagels topped with house-cured lox, the specialty that the shop's own website says earned it a mention in Bon Appetit as one of the best bagel spots outside New York. The Lox Bagel Shop is a bagel shop on North High Street in Columbus, Ohio. A check of the business's website, theloxbagelshop.com, found it live with a working online-ordering system in a 2026-09-08 check, listing hours of 7:30am-2pm on weekdays and 8am-2pm on weekends, a phone number, and a catering-inquiry email address. The site also lists a suite number, #106, at the same North High Street address carried in the restaurant's map listing.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
