What happened after Food Paradise?
"Extra Cheesy" (S9E10) featured Nacho Mama's Mexican, a Southwestern Mexican restaurant that operated in Baltimore's Canton neighborhood for about three decades. WMAR2 News reported that the restaurant's Canton and Towson locations closed permanently on January 12, 2025, ending its 30-year run in Baltimore, and quoted owners Jackie, Darby, and Finn McCusker: "Thank you, Baltimore, for giving us the ride of a lifetime." A Yelp listing for the Canton location at 2907 O'Donnell St, updated May 2026, continued to show the restaurant as closed, consistent with the reported closure date and giving no indication of any reopening under the same name at either the Canton or Towson address, or under any successor concept using the same name.
