What happened after Food Paradise?
This episode featured Pig Heaven's Peking duck and barbecue spare ribs, longstanding specialties of the Upper East Side restaurant. The Chinese restaurant has served pig-centric dishes from its Third Avenue location for decades, with pig-themed decor that plays on its rib and duck specialties. According to Yelp, whose Pig Heaven listing was updated in August 2026 with more than 600 reviews, the restaurant remains active at 1420 3rd Ave. OpenTable's listing for the restaurant, also updated for 2026, shows continuing reservation availability. The restaurant's own website, pigheavennyc.com, checked 2026-09-08, listed its Third Avenue address, phone number, and an online ordering option, though the site still displayed an older seasonal closure notice from a past winter storm. Google Places lists the business as operational.
