What happened after Man v. Food?

Casey Webb ate at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill, the make-your-own-pancake restaurant inside De Leon Springs State Park, where tables are fitted with built-in griddles so guests cook their own batter to order, a format the restaurant had run since 1961. In August 2022, Orlando Weekly reported that the family then operating the restaurant had announced they were closing after losing their bid to keep running the park concession, and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection told the paper the restaurant would continue operating under a new vendor, Guest Services Inc. Florida's state park website, current as of a September 2026 check, still lists 'Concession and Restaurant' among the park's amenities and links to an Old Sugar Mill Pancake House page.
