What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's “Truck Stop Paradise” (aired 2013) featured Omar's Hi-Way Chef, the diner-style restaurant inside the Triple T truck stop on Interstate 10 in Tucson, Arizona, prized for its 24-hour breakfast menu. Tucson native Omar Ramirez, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, opened the restaurant in 1996 inside the family-owned Triple T, which has served travelers since 1954. A Yelp listing for the restaurant, updated in May 2026, and Google Places both show it currently operating. KGUN9 reported that the Triple T Truck Stop, still running on its 24/7 schedule at the time, had been listed for sale at $10 million, though no dated source confirms a completed sale or any change to Omar's since. The restaurant was also named to Tucson Foodie's 2023 roundup of the city's best roadside eats.
