What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Part 1 — Season 22, Episode 15 Aired
On the "All Beefed Up" episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy Fieri visited Paul's Coffee Shop, a Fountain Valley diner built around the owner's U.S. Marine Corps background, with food served on steel military trays, according to Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Featured items included bulgogi-style beef marinated overnight and served over Japanese sticky rice with housemade kimchi, a cinnamon-cilantro pork steak, and "S.O.S.," the diner's version of chipped beef gravy over toast with hash browns and fruit, according to Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Part 2 — Season 9, Episode 12 Aired
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Paul's Coffee Shop in the 2010-07-26 episode "You Called It" (S9E12), spotlighting the counter's diner-style breakfast cooking. Paul's Coffee Shop is a small, independently run breakfast-and-lunch spot in Fountain Valley, California, serving classic griddle fare from a walk-up counter. According to a joe.coffee mobile-ordering listing checked 2026-09-07, the shop was accepting online orders at 16947 Bushard Street. A Yelp business page, also checked 2026-09-07, listed the restaurant as operating daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the same address. Restaurantji and Tripadvisor pages checked the same day carried customer reviews and photos for the location, and the restaurant's Facebook page listed the Bushard Street address as current, consistent with a currently operating restaurant.
