What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's 'All Wrapped Up' episode featured Pig and Khao, a Southeast Asian restaurant on New York's Lower East Side known for Filipino- and Thai-influenced dishes from chef Leah Cohen, a former 'Top Chef' contestant. Cohen and her husband, Ben Byruch, ran the Clinton Street restaurant for 13 years, drawing on Cohen's connection to the cuisines of Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, according to Cititour. Cititour reported that the couple opened a second Pig & Khao location at 433 Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side in December 2024, and a Yahoo-syndicated report described the original Lower East Side restaurant's run ending in June 2025 after its lease could not be renewed on terms the owners could sustain. Google Places separately marked the Clinton Street listing permanently closed.
