What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode "Sausage Kings" (S10E9) featured Preux & Proper's Cajun and Southern-inspired menu in downtown Los Angeles. The restaurant occupied a two-story space at 840 S. Spring Street and served dishes blending New Orleans and Southern American cooking under chef-owner Josh Kopel. According to LA Weekly, Kopel announced the restaurant's permanent closure in late August 2020. What Now LA reported on September 1, 2020 that the announcement was made on the restaurant's Facebook page. In the LA Weekly piece, Kopel said he had turned in the keys to the space and planned a future project without giving further details. Google's business listing for the address subsequently marked the location as permanently closed, and the space was later reported as a possible site for a new restaurant.
