It was featured on the show, episode 'Culinary Revolutions' (S10E13). According to the San Antonio Current, Sohocki closed Restaurant Gwendolyn's downtown location, along with his restaurant Kimura, and moved the concept to a different building. The San Antonio Report reported the same closure, noting the restaurant's last service was 2025-12-18 and that Sohocki reopened in the former 5 Points Local space under a new name, 5 Points, retaining a similar approach to ingredients and preparation. The restaurant's original domain no longer hosts content related to the business; a 2026-09-08 site check found it resolved to unrelated third-party content. No source confirming continued operation under the Restaurant Gwendolyn name was found.
