What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited The Cove in San Antonio on the "Totally Unexpected" episode, aired 2008-08-18, as one of the local spots featured on that episode. The Cove is a restaurant in San Antonio's Five Points neighborhood at 606 West Cypress Street. According to thecove.us, the site brands the business around "Must-Try Burgers," and it lists specific weekly hours, including 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. on Sunday and 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with additional hours Tuesday through Thursday. The site, checked 2026-09-08, also promotes an events and party-booking system, describing the business as an option for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and other gatherings. The Cove's website continues to describe the restaurant as being "in 5 Points, San Antonio," the same neighborhood associated with the business, and to offer an online ordering feature.
