What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Rockin' Dave's Bagel Bistro in the episode 'Sandwiches and Spice,' which aired 2021-10-22, highlighting the Bend, Oregon shop's bagel-based sandwiches. According to the business's own website, owner Dave moved to Central Oregon in 2001 and built the business into what its site calls Rockin' Dave's Bagel Bistro and Catering Co. Google Places lists the business's status as permanently closed as of the 2026-09-08 check. The company's website still returns a working page, but its content does not go beyond 2016 and shows no current hours, ordering activity, or other signs of ongoing operation, so it does not offer a fresher indication that the business remains open. A Wikipedia entry on the restaurant, last revised 2026-07-11, notes only that it has appeared on the show, without addressing its current operating status.
