What happened after Food Paradise?
The episode Swine and Dine (S16E8) featured Smokin' Q's BBQ, a barbecue restaurant and beer house in Mayfield, Ohio, a suburb east of Cleveland. The Google Places business record lists the location under the fuller name Smokin Q's BBQ and Beer House, indicating it paired smoked barbecue with a full beer list rather than operating as a food-only counter-service spot. A Google Places listing, updated 2026-09-08, marks Smokin' Q's BBQ and Beer House as permanently closed at 718 SOM Center Road in Mayfield. No business website or additional dated source was located for this address, and nothing in the evidence gathered points to a relocation or a successor restaurant operating at the same storefront. Mayfield sits along the SOM Center Road commercial corridor in Cuyahoga County, an area with a mix of independent restaurants and strip-mall retail.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
