What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
The Stand appeared in the "Sugar Rush" episode (S1E4), which featured a dessert from the restaurant's menu at its Union Square-area location. The Stand is a restaurant and comedy club at 116 East 16th Street in Manhattan. A site check on 2026-09-08 found the restaurant's website (thestandnyc.com) live with a 2026 copyright notice, listed hours, and an online ordering widget, and the homepage displayed a same-day comedy event scheduled for that date, September 8. Google's business listing for the address also marked the location operational as of the same check. A Wikipedia page for a restaurant called Stand carried a closed annotation, but nothing in that annotation tied it to this East 16th Street address, and it was outweighed here by the live, same-day evidence from the business's own website.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
