What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Sweet n Savory Cafe in the episode "East Coast, West Coast," which aired June 8, 2018, spotlighting the Wilmington cafe's breakfast and lunch cooking. Sweet n Savory Cafe operated on Pavilion Place in Wilmington, North Carolina, serving as a neighborhood breakfast-and-lunch spot. Google Places listed the cafe's business status as permanently closed in a September 2026 check, with Pavilion Place recorded as its last known address, matching the location from the restaurant's original television visit. A check of the restaurant's own website, sweetnsavorycafe.com, returned an access-denied error rather than a working page as of September 8, 2026, consistent with the site no longer being actively maintained. No 2026-dated news coverage, social-media post, or public listing describing current hours, a reopening, or a change of ownership was found for the address.
