What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured The Beestro in Santa Fe for the 2019-09-13 episode "Far-Flung Flavor" (S30E13), highlighting the restaurant's soup and sandwich menu. The Beestro operated as a cafe-style restaurant in the Plaza Galeria complex on East San Francisco Street in downtown Santa Fe, according to OpenTable and Grubhub listings for the address. Since the episode, the business has closed: a Yelp listing for The Beestro, updated 2026-08, marks the restaurant CLOSED. Google Places' automated location match for "Beestro" instead returned an unrelated Marriott hotel restaurant, The Bistro, at a different Santa Fe address, and no updated address or successor business for The Beestro could be confirmed from available records. A Zmenu listing separately archived an old Beestro menu of shawarma, falafel and salad plates, consistent with the concept the restaurant carried before its closure.
