What happened after Bar Rescue?
The Broadway Club was a bar in Tooele, Utah's Newtown neighborhood, co-owned by Randy Hunt, a former real estate agent who opened the bar, and Patty Bullock, to whom Hunt offered shares so he could remain a silent partner; Bullock's husband, Adam, was also involved. By the time Bar Rescue's Jon Taffer arrived for the episode "Come Home to Roost" (aired 2020-04-19, filmed in July 2019 according to RealityTVUpdates), RealityTVUpdates reported that Bullock preferred socializing at the bar to running it, that bartenders said she didn't know how to manage the business, and that Hunt was $200,000 in debt as the bar declined and the co-owners' relationship grew strained. Taffer's crew renovated the space and, according to RealityTVUpdates, renamed it The Roost Bar; sales rose afterward. The Roost did not survive long-term. According to RealityTVUpdates, the bar closed in early 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic health restrictions and did not reopen under that name. RealityTVUpdates reported that the address, 104 N Broadway Ave, Tooele, UT 84074, is now occupied by a different, newer business, Pit Stop Bar and Grill. A site check on 2026-09-08 of a Facebook page for Pit Stop Bar and Grill tied to this address returned an HTTP 200 response with the page titled "Pit Stop Bar and Grill | Tooele UT," though the page's underlying content loaded as Facebook application data rather than readable text, limiting what could be confirmed about current hours or activity. A separate Yelp listing under the older "Broadway Bar" name at the same address, updated 2026-08, is marked closed, consistent with the venue's history of name changes. Bar Rescue episode names commonly play on a venue's original identity, and "Come Home to Roost" referenced the show's chosen replacement name for the bar. Randy Hunt's role as a largely absentee, silent-partner owner was a recurring theme RealityTVUpdates identified as contributing to the bar's decline even after the makeover.
