What happened after Food Paradise?

The Deck on Laguna Beach was featured in the episode "Shore Bets" (season 12, episode 9), spotlighting the restaurant's oceanfront seafood menu and sand-level dining deck. The Deck operates as a seafood restaurant within the Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach, California, describing itself on its own website, deckonlaguna.com, as the city's only restaurant located directly on the sand. According to the business's own website, accessed 2026-09-09, The Deck serves seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., seats guests on a walk-in wait-list basis, and offers valet parking and bookable oceanfront bungalows for private events of 8 to 50 guests. The site also lists a dedicated menu of oysters and other fresh coastal dishes served alongside cocktails and beachside bites. An OpenTable listing for the restaurant, accessed the same date, shows it as an actively bookable venue for reservations.
