What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured The Meatball Stoppe in Orlando during the 'Wonder Women' episode, which aired 2017-04-21, highlighting the restaurant's meatball sandwiches and Italian-style meatball dishes served from its Lake Underhill Road storefront. The Meatball Stoppe operated as a casual Italian eatery under the tagline 'Love & Famiglia,' serving the Orlando area for several years after its television appearance. According to the business's own website, themeatballstoppe.com, the owners wrote that they had 'sold this location' after operating there for about nine years, and the site now promotes the brand as The Meatball Stoppe Catering rather than a public storefront. Google Places separately lists the Lake Underhill Road address as permanently closed. It remains unclear from available sources whether meatball catering continues under new ownership at that address or has moved elsewhere, since no further dated confirmation was found.
