What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Cuchara in Houston for the 'Multicultural Cooking' episode, aired 2017-04-28, spotlighting the restaurant's Mexico City-inspired cooking. Cuchara is a bistro in Houston's Montrose neighborhood serving brunch, dinner, and dessert menus alongside a cocktail list. According to the restaurant's own website, cuchararestaurant.com, which returned an active page during a September 2026 check, Cuchara describes itself as a Mexico City-inspired bistro serving Houston since it opened. Google Places lists the business as operating at its Fairview Street address. No relocation, ownership change, or closure has been reported for Cuchara since its 2017 appearance on the show, and a September 2026 review of its website found it still promoting brunch, dinner, and cocktail offerings to Houston diners.
