The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5) visited the Richmoor Hotel in Weymouth, Dorset, in the episode “The Richmoor Hotel, Weymouth,” which aired 2016-07-06. Wikipedia's list of episodes describes a hotel run by a mother, Loraine, who employs several of her seven children. The staging notes for this entry place it in Dorset and give no street address.

The location is not settled. A Google Places search for the featured name returned The Jubilee Hotel at 143-146 Esplanade, Weymouth, DT4 7NN, which carries a different name, so that address is not used here. A listing on the travel site dnatatravel.com, whose footer carried a 2026 copyright line, describes a Richmoor Hotel in Melcombe Regis, Weymouth: a beach hotel close to Weymouth Bay with 27 guest rooms, a restaurant, a bar and lounge, a terrace with views, free on-site parking and a 24-hour front desk. The page shows a booking form but no street address, postcode, review dates or live availability, and it does not say whether this is the hotel shown in the episode or who runs it.

Searches by name and place returned episode guides, streaming pages and general Weymouth hotel lists. No source read for this entry gives a verified address, a dated 2026 sign that the Richmoor is taking guests, or any report of a sale, a rename or a closure. What happened to the hotel and its family-run management after the broadcast is not documented in what was found.

A Google Maps search for the Richmoor Hotel in Weymouth, checked 2026-10-20, returns The Jubilee Hotel at 143-146 Esplanade, a hotel with more than 700 Google reviews, the newest one to four months old, and room prices listed. Booking.com's page for the property, whose web address still reads 'the-richmoor', lists it as The Jubilee Hotel with a spa, restaurant and entertainment. No source read says whether the owners seen in the episode still run it.
