What the source shows: CAMRA's entry (updated 2023-07-05) records the Churston Court Inn as closed long term from 2022-11-06 and sold in January 2023, and Torbay Weekly (2023-01-06) reported the sale to new owners, so anything trading there now would be a new operator under the Churston Manor name.

The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5) episode "Churston Court" aired July 18, 2017. According to TheTVDB's episode entry, the hotel is in Devon and was owned by Chris and Jonathan. Host Alex Polizzi arrived a day early and met a dim, cluttered interior and an empty reception desk. The entry also lists poor reviews, staff who needed motivating and a heavy red color scheme.
Torbay Weekly reported on January 6, 2023 (updated June 21, 2023) that the 16th-century inn and hotel at Churston Ferrers, near Brixham, had been sold for about 1.25 million pounds to Jamie Phillips and his wife Sarah, who own the Kingston Estate at Staverton near Totnes. The article describes 18 letting bedrooms and a two-bedroom owner's flat, and says the buyers were preparing extensive investment plans, with details due later in 2023.
The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) database entry, last updated July 5, 2023, lists the venue as Churston Manor, also listed as Churston Court Inn, on Church Road (TQ5 0JE). It records the pub as closed on November 6, 2022, with a future that was uncertain, a sale to an unnamed private investor in January 2023, and plans for structural repairs, refurbishment and a possible wedding venue.
Lastminute.com lists a hotel called Churston Manor on Church Road in Churston Ferrers, described as a beach inn with 19 guest rooms, a restaurant, a cafe and a bar, but the page shows no dates or reviews. Wikipedia's article on Churston Court gives Churston Manor as an alternative name and calls the building a hotel, also without dates. A Guides for Brides venue listing, last verified February 2, 2026, still uses the name Churston Court. No dated source checked shows whether the building has traded under the new owners.
KAYAK's page for Churston Manor Hotel at Church Road, Brixham, TQ5 0JE, rendered 2026-10-19, lists 19 rooms and a professional host but shows no dated reviews. The Caterer reported on 8 November 2006 that Peter Malkin, through Christie + Co, was selling the Churston Court hotel to Bitlight, a Home Counties hospitality company, at a 2.5 million pound asking price. CAMRA's entry lists Gooseberry Inns in its operator field and Devonshire Real Estate as freehold owner.
