What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On "Burgers, Bacon and BBQ" (season 29, episode 6, aired 2018-11-23), Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured a farm-to-table comfort-food plate built around burgers and bacon at The Root Cafe in downtown Little Rock. The cafe describes itself as a farm-to-table comfort food restaurant on Main Street. The Root Cafe's website (therootcafe.com) lists a second location, Breckenridge Village in west Little Rock, alongside the original downtown SoMa spot, and offers ordering through DoorDash and UberEats plus gift cards and catering, checked 2026-09-08. The site's navigation also includes community and retail "goodies" pages alongside its menu. Google Places' listing for The Root Cafe shows a status of operational, checked the same date.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
