According to the business's Facebook page, Tios Mexican Cafe operated in Ann Arbor from 1986 to 2026, most recently from 401 E Liberty St. A Yelp listing for that address, updated 2026-08, marks the restaurant permanently closed. In a 2026 Facebook post, the owners announced they were closing and thanked customers for their support, adding that they might appear at farmers markets or other pop-up venues going forward. The Google Places record supplied for this write-up, which returned an unrelated business (House of Chimney Cakes) at a South Fourth Avenue address, did not match Tios and was not used; the address and closure above come from the Facebook announcement and the Yelp listing instead.
