What happened after Hotel Hell?
Gordon Ramsay visited the Vienna Restaurant and Historic Inn, an Austrian-themed hotel and restaurant in Southbridge, Massachusetts, for Hotel Hell season 3, episode 2, which aired 2016-05-31. After Ramsay's visit, owners Lisa and Jonathan reverted much of the property's decor, menu, and stored inventory back to how it had been before the show, according to Popthruster's recap of the episode. RealityTVUpdates reported that the inn closed following fire damage on 2017-11-17, and that the property sold for $99,900 in 2019 without reopening as a hospitality business.
Yelp's listings for the property, under the names Vienna Historic Inn and Vienna Restaurant and Historic Inn at 14 South Street, Southbridge, Massachusetts, were both marked CLOSED, updated September 2026. The Google Places record referenced in the show's location data instead matched an unrelated business also named Vienna Inn, a carryout restaurant on Maple Avenue East in Vienna, Virginia, roughly 450 miles away; that record's website, hours, and 2026-dated content describe the Virginia carryout business, not the Southbridge, Massachusetts hotel featured on the show, and should not be read as evidence about the featured property. The Southbridge address was instead confirmed through the Yelp listings and geocoded independently.
