What happened after Hotel Hell?
Landoll's Mohican Castle is a castle-themed hotel and event venue at 561 Township Road 3352 in Loudonville, Ohio, offering lodging, dining, and wedding and event hosting. Fox's Hotel Hell, hosted by Gordon Ramsay, featured the property in the episode "Landoll's Mohican Castle" (S3E8), which aired July 26, 2016, with Ramsay working alongside the owners on problems at the property. Google Places currently lists the hotel's business status as operational. The property's own website, landollsmohicancastle.com, returned a functioning page on 2026-09-09 with active navigation for reservations, suites, dining, weddings, and other events, plus a "Book Now" reservation link, though the page itself did not display a copyright year or other explicit current-year date.
A Booking.com guest review dated June 18, 2026, described a clean room and a very nice stay. A Yelp listing for the property, updated in August 2026, carries 108 reviews and does not mark the business closed. Taken together, the June 2026 Booking.com review and the August 2026 Yelp update, alongside an operational Google Places status, indicate the property continues to host guests a decade after the Hotel Hell episode aired. No source found in this check describes the property as sold, renamed, or placed under different ownership since 2016.
