What happened after Mystery Diners?
In the Mystery Diners episode "Singles Night," which aired December 14, 2012, Will, co-owner of Whiskey Dick's in North Las Vegas, had noticed a steady decline in female customers and asked Charles Stiles for help figuring out why. Investigator Shellene went undercover as a waitress and found that the manager's conduct behind the bar, not the drink menu or the crowd, was the reason women were staying away. Will was advised to address the manager's behavior directly and set clear standards for how staff treated customers, since the pattern was actively costing the bar business.
According to the episode, Will confronted the manager after seeing what the investigation turned up. The bar had operated around the clock with live music and karaoke nights, according to local directory listings from around the time of the episode. Wikipedia's article on Mystery Diners notes, citing its sources, that the show carries an on-screen disclaimer stating some events may be staged or re-enacted for dramatic purposes, and that a television critic has described its scenarios and performances as implausible. A Yelp listing for Whiskey Dick's at 2750 E Craig Rd, updated March 2026, marks the bar permanently closed, and Google Places independently lists the same business status.

Sources we checked
We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
