What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Yakitori Jinbei in Smyrna for the episode "Round the World Roundup," which aired 2019-02-08, featuring the restaurant's grilled yakitori skewers alongside ramen and Korean fried chicken. Yakitori Jinbei is a Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant on Cobb Parkway SE in Smyrna that combines a sushi bar with a ramen and yakitori menu. The restaurant's own website, yakitorijinbei.com, still displays 2019-dated copyright text and menu content, so it does not by itself show current operation. According to a Yelp listing updated 2026-08, however, the restaurant has 663 reviews and remains an active sushi bar at the same Cobb Parkway address, with Google Places also listing the business as operational. No fresher dated source contradicting continued operation was found during this check.
