Alley Cat Dive Bar Is Now Chase's Garage Bar and Grill — Bar Rescue Update

Alley Cat Dive Bar, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, was featured on Bar Rescue season 10, episode 4, "Alley Cat-astrophe" (aired 2026-03-08). Bowling Green television station WNKY reported on 2025-07-14, after filming but before the episode aired, that host Jon Taffer's crew spent 36 hours renovating and rebranding the bar, and that owner Chase Martin chose the new name Chase's Garage. WNKY quoted Martin saying the new name was "something I can build on," in contrast to the bar's old identity, which he said "wasn't mine."

The rename has held. The Facebook page for the location — carrying the same numeric page ID previously used for Alley Cat Dive Bar and Grill — now displays the name Chase's Garage Bar and Grill. A separate Yelp listing for Chase's Garage Bar and Grill, updated 2026-04, shows the business active at 871 Broadway Ave in Bowling Green, matching the address verified for this entry, with posted hours of 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 2 a.m. on weekends.

Google Places data gathered for this project marked the business closed permanently, but that status appears to attach to the retired Alley Cat Dive Bar listing rather than to the address itself: Yelp separately shows an Alley Cat Bar & Grill page marked closed as of a May 2026 update, while the newer Chase's Garage listing at the same address and phone-adjacent record shows current activity. This entry treats the location as renamed and continuing to operate rather than closed, based on the shared Facebook page ID and the active Chase's Garage listings. realitytvupdates.com, in a recap last updated 2026-03-08, described the venue's car-themed decor referencing Bowling Green's Corvette Museum, a restaurant-style food menu, and a kitchen run Thursday through Sunday afternoons by an outside vendor, and reported that the location was drawing strongly positive Google reviews after the relaunch. A site check of the Facebook page performed on 2026-09-08 returned normally (HTTP 200) but surfaced only generic Facebook boilerplate rather than dated page content.
