Hurricane Creek Saloon opened in downtown Melbourne, Florida, in 2017, built by Randy Bennett after a career owning five radio stations. Bar Rescue's "Flush the Slush" (aired 2026-03-29) found the country-themed nightclub in decline following a string of personal losses. According to The Cinemaholic (2026-03-31), Bennett's father died after a stroke, he ended a six-and-a-half-year relationship, and he lost three close friends in the same period, and as he withdrew, the bar slipped into neglect, including leaking frozen drink machines. Jon Taffer renamed the venue Neon Rodeo: A Country Party Bar during the episode, according to The Cinemaholic.

The rename did not last: Reality TV Updates (2026-03-29) reported that in a May 2025 Facebook post the owners explained they had chosen a different name, writing "We did not pick the 'N R' name," and that they wanted something that reflected the venue's own history and the area's, settling on The Creek: A Country Party Bar. Reality TV Updates, in the same March 2026 update, noted that the bar's official website still carried the original Hurricane Creek Saloon branding and called the site outdated. That description matches the site as checked on 2026-09-08: hurricanecreeksaloon.com loaded successfully, last modified 2026-09-05, still under the "Hurricane Creek Saloon: Melbourne's Best Country Bar" title, advertising line-dancing lessons, an event calendar, and a menu. Google Places marks the business operational at 829 East New Haven Avenue. The 2026-09-08 check found the page still listing an event calendar, line-dancing lessons, and a contact page, consistent with an actively updated site despite the outdated name in its branding.
