What happened after Bar Rescue?
Happenchance Social Lounge opened in Nolensville, Tennessee, built by owners Amanda and Dylan Guy, who put in $250,000 of their own money and borrowed another $250,000 from family to chase an upscale, elevated lounge concept. By the time Bar Rescue's "Don't Leave it to Happenchance" aired on 2026-03-22, that vision had blurred. According to The Cinemaholic (2026-03-31), the Guys had invested roughly $500,000 total against monthly losses near $2,000, with graffiti-style decor clashing against the intended upscale feel, pre-made cocktails standing in for craft preparation, weak staff direction, and a brand identity that no longer resonated with the neighborhood.
Jon Taffer concluded that the original name no longer resonated with the community, according to The Cinemaholic, and renamed the venue The Regal Room. The Cinemaholic reported that Taffer replaced the graffiti aesthetic with refined, cozy interiors, upgraded the lighting and plumbing, installed a modern point-of-sale system, and put the bar staff through structured craft-cocktail training, while also encouraging Dylan Guy to pursue formal hospitality education and to hire an experienced head bartender. The rebrand has stuck. The Cinemaholic reported The Regal Room operating as a cocktail lounge and wine bar at 7180 Nolensville Road, drawing a 4.6-star overall rating and 4.9 stars on Google across roughly 550 reviews, and noted that reviews since the relaunch consistently praise the food, service, and cocktails.
A Yelp listing for The Regal Room, updated June 2026, shows 81 photos and 69 reviews at the same address. The business's own website, theregalroombyhs.com, lists current hours — Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., extended to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, closed Sundays — and Google Places marks the business operational. Nolensville, a fast-growing suburb south of Nashville, gave the rebranded lounge a built-in audience of newer residents looking for a nearby cocktail spot, according to The Cinemaholic.
