What happened after Mystery Diners?

On 'Drive-Thru Drama,' the Mystery Diners episode that closed the show's tenth season when it aired 2015-10-21, the owner of B-Man's Teriyaki and Burgers in Pasadena told Charles Stiles that customer counts had dropped and asked him to look into it. Stiles's undercover team worked the drive-thru window and reported problems with how orders were being handled there. The owner reviewed the footage with Stiles, let go of the staff responsible, and, consistent with the show's usual format, was advised to retrain the drive-thru crew on order accuracy and speed.

Wikipedia's article on Mystery Diners, citing its sources, notes that the program discloses some scenes as staged or re-enacted, and a television critic has called several of its situations implausible. The restaurant continues to operate at 3007 Huntington Drive in Pasadena as B-Man's Teriyaki & Burgers. Yelp's listing for the address, updated August 2026, carries more than a thousand reviews, and a review posted on the listing in March 2026 described the location as busy with efficient service. The restaurant's own site still runs an online-ordering option. According to the restaurant's own site, owner Byron Takeuchi opened the original B-Man's in 1998, and the Pasadena location featured in the episode is the same one still serving teriyaki bowls and burgers today.
